Bring in the new year giving your time to help brighten the hospital rooms of some really amazing kids! These are pics of the cards and one of my students at Hopkins 🙂
So, when folks dye with me they dye something for themselves but also have the option to make a handmade pop-up card and a mini tapestry for kids in the Casey Cares Program. I have tubs of these beautiful tapestries that need to be ironed. I also have a big box of cards made by kids. Some of them are incomplete and need to be finished. Then, we need to fold the bandanas and flour sack towels and tie up the cards and the mini tapestries together into a little present that can be handed out to kids at the Casey Cares Events.
**********Please bring an iron and an ironing board if you have one!!!*********** call me if you get lost! 443-790-3631
Also, I volunteer at Hopkins Children’s Center, once a month, tie-dyeing with kids who are there. I take the little gifts to those kids who are unable to come to the great room to tie-dye their own room brightening decor.
I need your help. So, this is an opportunity to come and help me get all of these things completed so that we can give them to the kids. Thank you!!
