Roll Up N Dye in the Media

“This is another great example of a fun, creative and colorful business that will be a great addition to the already arts-centered community of Long Reach,” said Howard County Executive Calvin Ball. “Erin’s entrepreneurial spirit and passion for giving back to the community fits in with the direction and goals for Long Reach Rising – a premier hub for the arts, STEM, and entrepreneurism.”

Cassell’s favorite part of the business is teaching, she says, so lately she’s been spending more time hosting tie-dyeing workshops at her studio. These hands-on events are frequently more than just art classes; many become unique team building experiences for assemblages ranging from youth sports teams to employee groups.

The events she puts on continue to attract large numbers of people, and there are always orders to fill. She thanks her teammates who helped her so much along the way.
She’s been researching tie-dye techniques for years, even flying to New Mexico and California to meet people who have been tie-dyeing for decades.
About Erin

Erin launched Roll Up N Dye about a decade after earning her Theater Arts Degree from Western Maryland College (McDaniel College). Leading tie dye workshops combines her love of the arts with her love of community service. In 2020, her company was selected to participate in Howard County’s Long Reach Rising Initiative. Now the home base for this hub of happiness is located in Long Reach Village Center in Columbia, MD.
In August 2021, Erin joined AmeriCorps for a year of service. So, in addition to creating art with you, she served full-time as Volunteer Coordinator for the Do Good Institute at the University of Maryland in College Park.
She loves leading workshops where art serves as a vehicle to empower people to choose kindness towards themselves and others. Creating together allows participants to let loose and have fun. Plus there is always an opportunity for folks to give back to the community through their art. Erin has a blast spreading rainbows and sunshine with everyone!
I used Roll Up N Dye for a company team building event and I can’t say enough great things about the company and the owner, Erin Cassell. She was such a delight to work with and the team had the best time creating tie-dye shirts; men and women alike. They also made handmade cards and hand dyed bandanas for hospital patients (way to give back!).
If you are looking for a great corporate team building event or a fun party for kids or adults then you definitely need to try Roll Up N Dye!!
