The team that dyes together, stays together!

Sports Teams and Scout/Service Groups tie dye with us all the time! Having a good time, working on creative projects, and goofing off together is a great way to celebrate a milestone or wind up a season. We welcome you to read more and find out how we might help your team bond. 

Sports Team Parties

Show that team spirit! Invite us to come dye with you and your teammates at your next pep rally or team practice. For your next game, meet, match, or championship, or tournament, you can show your team spirit by sporting the spirit wear that you made yourself.

We host parties both in our studio and at off-site locations. 300+ teammates can tie-dye at a location of your choice. During our parties, the kids are guided through the process of making their own high-quality tie-dyed t-shirt. From folding to tying and dyeing, the kids learn it all. We use visual examples to show a variety of dye applications and styles. Then, they get to dye their own shirts from one of the different types of patterns they learned. The psychedelic t-shirts are packaged with care instructions for the kids to take home. We provide the three primary colors of tie dying: fuchsia, turquoise, and yellow. We also bring pastel blue and pink. From these these colors, a rainbow of colors can be created. As a bonus, we include our favorite fluorescent green! Want to request different colors? No Problem!

In addition to dyeing together, teammates have the opportunity to get to know each other better by playing some really fun relationship building games. Our goal is to help your team be closer after this creative, and fun workshop.

The Roll Up N Dye studio can hold 15-18 people comfortably. This includes party participants and any additional parents and guests. Larger parties must be hosted at Doodle Hatch. Or, we can travel to your home or a location of your choice.

We will travel to pretty much anywhere. To come to you there is an additional fee.

  Basic Sports Team Tie Dye Workshop Details

• Duration: 2 hours

• What’s Included: a minimum of 1 party attendant, setup, photo props, paint to put handprints on the wall, pre-washed and prepared t-shirt, gloves, aprons, professional quality dyes, tie-dye instruction from an experienced tie-dye artist, cleanup. Shirts will be packaged with care instructions, and an Acts of Kindness checklist for each participant to take home.
• Feeling Spontaneous?? Good! Between activities, attendees can have fun taking selfies with the help of my big bag o props. Post away on Instagram, and remember to tag me! @RollUpNDye
• If you would like to extend your stay at the studio, there are many additional projects and activities to choose from. Should you have refreshments during your visit, please be sure to ask about our Tree Hugger Program.

Scout/Service Group Parties

Finding the right activities for your troop can be a challenge. Erin describes her philosophy behind scout troop and service group parties that ROCK!

Erin has a lot of fond memories from the 12 years she spent as a Girl Scout and aims to create fun memories for scouts of this generation. If there is a badge or patch, she can help with, please let me know. Aside from just tie-dyeing, she can make time to discuss being an artist, her process, teaching art or questions about business. She can also talk with the kids about what she is doing to keep her studio as green as possible.

We have had lots of scout troops and service groups tie-dye with us. You have options for how to structure your event. A few groups have held end-of-year parties, which is the same as the birthday party format. Other groups have had basic workshops. Fear not! During the parties, time is allotted for snacks.  This way, scouts can have s’more fun! (ha!)

• What’s Included: service project opportunities, a minimum of 1 party attendant, setup, photo props, pre-washed and prepared t-shirt for the scout and a bandana that will be dyed by the scout and then donated to Grateful Heads, gloves, aprons, professional quality dyes, tie-dye instruction from an experienced tie-dye artist, cleanup. Shirts will be packaged with care instructions and an Acts of Kindness checklist for each participant to take home.
